We are seeking the talented, dynamic, and motivated individuals with relevant credentials who will be able to work as part of a dynamic team to join PCL. This position reports to Production Manager and will be predominantly based in Lami, Suva. The role is primarily responsible for maintaining raw materials usage, cement mill operation controls, involve in conveyor operations and stockpile management.

SOME OF THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

• Carry out checks with miller and tester about milling operations processes.
• Communicate with loader operator continuously on raw material filling and moisture controls in the cement mill.
• Monitor feed conveyors and clean spillages along the process line.
• Monitor and ensure minimal dust emissions while filling materials and report any environment issues surrounding dust emissions.
• Provide and record accurate raw materials usage
• Monitor trends and ensure all instruments are in working order.
• Maintain and safeguard raw materials storage and usage within the shed.

TO BE CONSIDERED, YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

• Form 7 pass in Chemistry and physics
• Self starter and eager to learn
• Group 2 and 9 Full driver’s licence
• Able to write reports and present when required
• Has working experience in manufacturing industry would be added advantages
