We are looking for an experienced Strategic and Transformational Leader with a background in Manufacturing, Factory Transformation and Construction with a history of excellent Commercial Success, People Leadership, shaping a Progressive and Positive Culture, Business Turnaround and an Excellent Facilitator to strengthen shareholder value and returns. The CEO will be responsible in proactively engaging the PCL Board and shareholders in the review and approval of the rolling Company Strategy and the reporting of strategic results.
SOME OF THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
- Leads and facilitates the development and successful execution of Factory Transformation, Supply Chain Review, Talent Agenda and Improving the Growth Agenda for PCL.
- Oversee and lead the implementation and achievement of PCL’S current and future strategic direction, delivery of strategic and operational key performance results, and outcomes across the organisation. This includes strategies in Pricing, Product Position, Market Reviews and building the right capabilities to deliver results.
- Lead the financial and technical feasibility for the development of a new cement mill and optimizing production with current plant.
- Responsible for the review and development of Strategic and Business Operational Plans to deliver both Transformation and Growth priorities.
- Lead and direct the planning, review, and execution of the PCL Digital Transformation Strategy.
- Lead stakeholder engagements critical for business operations which includes MOE, FCCC, Department of Environment, Union etc.
- Accountable for the accurate and timely presentation of the Financial, Annual reports and Strategic Plans to the Board, PCL Shareholders and FHL Group.
- Elevate PCL’s market position and business model to the next level, lead the business into new markets and new ways of working.
- Lead the collaboration with Management Service support functions from FHL Group in the review of FHL’s product and service portfolio and where applicable, value add to the review of FHL’s investment portfolio to further
enhance PCL’s value. - Provides the mandate and leadership for the PCL Management Team to work in partnership across their operational groups, lead and implement continuous improvements in customer experience, product standards, business process management and ensure successful transformation is achieved.
- Strengthen and drives improvement in governance, risk, and compliance management.
- Champions the development and execution of environmentally sustainable and socially responsible initiatives that delivers on PCL’s values and FHL Group’s core purpose.
TO BE CONSIDERED, YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
- More than 7 years of successful experience in a similar role from a manufacturing and construction industry with understanding of the construction dynamics of local and export markets.
- Excellent executive leadership record in building and motivating teams that deliver results with a respectable reputation that demonstrates the values that are important to PCL and the FHL Group.
- Must have both strategic, operational and technical experience in leading transforming/upgrading large scale manufacturing plants.
- Excellent transformational and change leadership in delivering both people and business targeted outcomes within targeted timeframes.
- Commercially astute professional with a strong grasp of market trends, driving strategic partnerships and growth within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing, executing and reviewing multi-year strategies with sustainable results.
- Proven project management success with benefits that improves both competitive edge and business performance.
- Successful performance history in factory transformation, pricing strategies, quality management, marketing, finance and supply chain management.
- Must have strong business ethics with experience in working with Board of Directors and Shareholders.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business and Supply Chain Management are highly advantageous.
