Fijian Holdings Limited was honoured to welcome the Gone Turaga Bale na Tui Nayau, Sau ni Vanua ko Lau and Tui Lau, Ratu Tevita Lutunauga Kapaiwai Uluilakeba Mara, on Wednesday, 22 July 2026.
The visit began with a brief traditional protocol, followed by an opportunity for FHL staff to meet and greet the Gone Turaga Bale and members of his delegation.
When invited to share a few words of wisdom, the Gone Turaga Bale responded with warmth and humour, saying that he had come to seek words of wisdom from FHL.
He thanked FHL for its contribution to Fiji and acknowledged the Group as an example and benchmark for iTaukei-owned businesses. He also recognised the important role FHL continues to play in strengthening indigenous participation in business and contributing to national development.
The Group CEO later provided the Gone Turaga Bale and his delegation with an update on FHL’s performance, investments and ongoing work across the Group.
The visit was a meaningful and encouraging occasion for the FHL family. The words shared by the Gone Turaga Bale served as a reminder of the responsibility FHL carries as an iTaukei-owned investment company and as an organisation that many others look to for guidance and inspiration.
FHL is grateful to the Gone Turaga Bale for taking the time to visit the Group and encourage its people. His presence was a blessing and strengthened FHL’s commitment to building successful businesses, creating opportunities for future generations and contributing to a stronger Fiji.
