This role is fully geared in knowing current and potential customers with the objective to enhance and manage their wealth in a
sustainable and responsible manner. As the designated dealer, the incumbent must have the ability to operate in a developing market
with a focus to drive market awareness, scale trading performance and be highly accessible to clients. FHLS operates in a lean
operating model which requires the stockbroker representatives/dealers to study the market and trade efficiently without
compromising regulated standards. This role will report directly to the Manager FHLS.
SOME OF THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
- Targeted marketing and promotion of FHLS portfolio management services to current and potential clients.
- Development of sales and trading strategies based on historical performance with calculated market assumptions.
- Track and report market activities and stock performance on a daily basis.
- Regularly update and follow up with high value clients on new market developments and elicit trade.
- Establish and maintain a productive trading relationship with listed companies.
- Provide sound advice to shareholder queries and maintain satisfactory customer service.
- Achieve targeted or budgeted income and drive the achievement of profit through excellent delivery of stockbroking duties.
- Maintain a filing system to ensure all documents are in order and information is captured and documented appropriately.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and report non-compliance issues to the compliance officer.
TO BE CONSIDERED, YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2 years’ successful experience in a similar role with excellent relationship management and customer service skills.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, investment or a related field.
- Demonstrated history of excellent character and positive results in sales or trading activities.
- Possess strong written, verbal and presentation skills with good negotiation tact and confidence in representing the Company.
- Align with FHL’s core values and demonstrate a commitment to integrity and be motivated to achieve operational excellence.
- Knowledge of investment and trading of securities will be highly advantageous.
